Become a member of the Friends of the Ukiah Valley Library! Membership dues help provide programs for all ages! Here are just some of the library programs membership dues support:

  • Children’s programs : The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Program; Lego Hour; Baby, Family and Bilingual Preschool Story Times; A Child, A Dog and A Good Book; Farmers’ Market Story Time.
  • Teen Programs: Library Teen Leadership Council;Drop-in Reading, Art and Writing (RAWR); Gaming, Anime and Manga Interest Groups and weekly Crafternoons.
  • Family Programs: Free family movies; Story Times and Special Events (see monthly calendar)
  • Adult Programs: The Yokayo Seed Project provides educational seminars and a growing collection of local heirloom seeds; knitting groups; monthly book club ; guest speakers; art exhibits; tech help
  • Book Mobile Outreach to remote areas of the county; nursing homes and the county jail
  • Refreshments for monthly Book Sales and live music on First Fridays

All of this and more are paid for with membership dues, contributions and the proceeds from our monthly book sales (the 1st Friday and Saturday of the month).
